This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Tea Explorer Pte Ltd, its parent company, and other affiliated companies (collectively “Chagee”) collect, use and disclose the personal information of customers through their websites and online services, including (“Chagee Website”), the Chagee Global Mobile Application (“Mobile App”), other Chagee-owned or operated websites, applications and online services that Chagee may operate such as the Chagee Online Store (collectively, the “Sites”), as well as through their programs and physical stores (“Services”).
This Policy is crafted in compliance with applicable personal data protection laws (including but not limited to the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore, the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia, the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562 (2019) of Thailand and other relevant legal standards). We automatically collect Non-PII when you interact with our Services. This includes:

In certain cases, Chagee may need to transfer or move personal information overseas (including, but not limited to, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, etc). To ensure the protection of such data, Chagee will establish agreements and/or business contracts with the receiving agency. These agreements will adhere to widely acceptable standard contractual clauses for cross border transfer and comply with applicable laws, ensuring that the transferred personal information is appropriately safeguarded.

Chagee takes reasonable steps to maintain appropriate physical, technical, and administrative security to help prevent loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification of personal information.
Where Chagee provides and/or transfers any data that it collects from you to its parent, subsidiary, associated and affiliated companies, or to any agent, contractor or third party service provider, located outside of Singapore or Malaysia, Chagee confirms that any of the above-mentioned parties to whom your personal information is disclosed or transferred are, or shall be bound by legally enforceable obligations to provide a standard of protection to personal information comparable to the standard of protection as set out under applicable laws and Chagee will use its best endeavours to ensure that each such party maintains appropriate physical, technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information against tampering and unauthorised access by third parties. While Chagee uses reasonable efforts to protect personal information in its possession or under its control, the transmission of data over the Internet or any other public network may be subject to loss, interception, and misuse.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements, with a maximum retention period of 10 years unless a longer period is required by law.

The deletion, destruction, or anonymization of personal data, or the withdrawal of consent must comply with applicable laws and contractual terms. Please note that such actions may impact the fulfilment of contractual obligations or the provision of services, as certain services require personal data for execution. Consequently, the data subject may no longer receive certain benefits, services, or updates from Chagee.
Additionally, Chagee offers choices for you to request to update or change your personal information and how we communicate with you. Here are some of the ways you can request changes:
Follow the opt-out instructions in promotional emails and SMS we send you.
Log in to your account via the application, if you have one, and visit Manage My Account section to update your preferred method of contact. You may select to opt out of receiving advertising, marketing, and promotional communications such as emails about your accounts or membership matters. You can usually choose to set your browser to warn you when a cookie is being sent or to remove or reject cookies. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookie settings. If you choose to remove or reject cookies, it will affect many features or services on our Sites.
